Accident On Highway 305 Claims The Life Of A Passenger

According to the local news, a 50-year-old woman who was killed after being involved in a head-on collision was unfortunately killed. The Washington State Patrol released a statement claiming that the woman was identified after her body was retrieved from the accident scene on Highway 305 last Friday.

The official reports show that the accident happened some time around 6 in the afternoon just in front of the Cedar Glen RV Park. The investigators working on this case think that the driver responsible for the crash was driving while intoxicated. The 46-year-old woman from Poulsbo was driving northbound when suddenly she veered into the opposite lane and collided head-on against the 1993 Saturn carrying the victim. Officials say she wasn’t wearing her seat belt.

The driver of the struck vehicle was severely injured and was rushed to the Hospital by a helicopter along with the drunken driver.

Authorities blocked the roadway for four hours so the accident scene could be cleared up.

As an Olympia car accident lawyer I extend my most profound condolences to the family of the woman who tragically lost her life because of this accident. The thoughts and hearts of all personal injury lawyers are with them.

Fortunately, this accident will serve as an alert to all motorists who think they could possibly get away with driving under the influence. Don’t be a victim of a drunken driver, contact a proficient lawyer as soon as needed.

Woman from Kent Seriously Injured after Lying in Road following an Argument

According to the authorities in Kent, a woman allegedly remained lying in a road after holding an argument with a man. News sources claim that the woman was seriously injured after being run over by a vehicle going southbound on Nisqually Cut Off Road. The Washington State Patrol announced the victim was taken to the Hospital sustaining multiple broken bones and an unfortunate head trauma.

The man arguing with the woman was allegedly her boyfriend. He was later taken by the authorities and is now held under the custody of the police. The WSP claims that he might have been drinking and driving before the woman was found lying in the road.

The accident allegedly happened sometime after 8:40 p.m. when the 47-year-old woman from Kent and the 49-year-old-man from Tacoma were driving together. According to the reports, they were both intoxicated when an argument was initiated leading the woman to get out of the car.

The reason behind her wanting to be lying on the floor amidst the traffic is unknown.

The case is being investigated and no other details were released regarding this accident. The driver who ran the woman over wasn’t injured.

As a Tacoma car accident lawyer I urge all drivers to stay away from your vehicle if you’re going to drink. Ritzville I-90 Accident Kills SCC Student

News outlets reported that a car crash killed a 20-year-old Spokane Community College student on Interstate 90 near Ritzville Monday morning.

According to Washington State Patrol troopers, the accident happened just before 6am as the 20-year-old woman was traveling eastbound on Interstate 90, approximately 17 miles east of Ritzville. The woman and her 21-year-old male passenger were apparently driving from Yakima to Spokane, where the woman attended college, when for unknown reasons the woman veered off the roadway. The vehicle then rolled roughly 150 feet down an embankment before coming to rest. Upon reaching the bottom of the embankment, the vehicle ignited in flames. The male passenger was able to escape the vehicle, however he was unable to extricate the female driver.

Emergency crews pronounced the woman dead at the scene of the accident. The passenger was transported to East Adams Rural Hospital in Ritzville for the treatment of injuries, including several broken bones, which he had sustained in the crash.

Troopers were forced to close one lane of I-90 to facilitate a cleanup effort and their investigation. Authorities are continuing their investigation and have yet to state whether they believe drugs or alcohol played contributing roles in the accident.

As an Olympia car accident attorney, I’m deeply saddened to learn of this tragic accident. In my time as a car accident lawyer, I’ve seen the devastating effects that accidents similar to this have had on those left behind. My sincerest condolences go out to the friends and family of this woman as they mourn their loss.

Vehicle Strikes Deer on I-5 near Lacey

News agencies reported that a 55-year-old Lacey woman sustained minor injuries after striking a three-point buck on Interstate 5 Tuesday morning.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident occurred at approximately 9:40am as the 55-year-old woman was traveling southbound on Interstate 5. As her 2001 Hyundai passed the Sleater-Kinney Road exit, the three-point buck bounded across all of the northbound traffic lanes of Interstate 5 and leapt over the jersey barrier in to the path of her vehicle. Unable to avoid a collision, the woman struck the deer. The animal hit her windshield, flipped over the vehicle and went through the back window, finally coming to rest in the trunk of the Hyundai. The woman was able to safely steer her vehicle to the right shoulder of the interstate with the deer still in the trunk.

Troopers responded to the scene a few minutes after the incident and found that the animal had been killed in the accident and remained in the woman’s trunk. Animal control units removed the animal from the car and authorities had the vehicle towed from the scene. The woman was reported to have suffered minor abrasions in the incident, but was otherwise unscathed.

A statement from a WSP official said, “The 55-year-old driver was extremely lucky to walk away with only minor abrasions.”

As an Everett car accident attorney, I’m relieved to learn that this woman was not seriously injured in this potentially deadly situation. I encourage all drivers to practice safe driving habits, including extreme diligence in areas of wildlife crossing, to increase theirs and others chances of staying safe on our roadways. If you’ve been injured in an accident that you believe was the fault of another, contact a car accident lawyer in your city to learn more about your rights as they pertain to the matter.
