Man Injured After Hitting a Boulder Off The Road

A single car accident was responsible for a man from Allyn being injured on Monday evening according to the local news.

The accident happened some time around 11 p.m. when the man was driving on the left side of the Highway 3 and accidentally hit a boulder off the roadway. The vehicle spun around many times and rested on the driver’s side.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the man was taken to the Hospital as soon as the troopers arrived and his car was impounded.

Official reports show that the 77-year-old driver had his seat belt on at the time of the crash and that there were no other individuals involved in this accident. The Washington State Patrol is allegedly still investigating the accident but ruled out alcohol as one of the possible causes of the crash.

As a Vancouver car accident lawyer I hope that the driver will recover quickly and that the authorities will find out the real reasons behind this accident so similar crashes can be prevented in the near future.

I, a personal injury lawyer wish that drivers all across the Nation would be extremely cautious when it comes to distracted and even drowsy driving. Both behaviors can pose severe threats to you and your loved ones.

Mudslide Closes Down Route 202 near Centralia, WA

News articles covering local accidents reported that according to the Washington State Patrol, a mudslide forced the authorities to shut the Route 202 down at the 267th avenue on Tuesday around the city of Centralia, WA. The ongoing rain made conditions unbearable for the traffic and residents of the surrounding region. The River at Centralia flooded to an extent rarely seen before.

According to the Centralia Emergency Management, the level of water in the river will rise 4.5 feet above the stage of flood by Wednesday evening.

The news have claimed that the Centralia Emergency Operations Center will be open and active until the river starts to retreat. Another problem can be traced back to the drastic change in weather: the street flooding that was reported near Tacoma. On top of that, over 8,600 residents from Oyhut, West Wishkah, Ocean Shores and Tokeland lost their access to electricity during Tuesday night as a result of the storm.

As a personal injury lawyer in Tacoma I hope that the roads will be clean and ready for the holiday drivers in Washington however I urge all motorists to be extremely alert so there will be no more victims of accidents related to extreme weather conditions.

Every Bellingham personal injury lawyer will tell you that accidents related to extreme weather can be very dangerous. Stay alert and keep your family safe during this holiday season.

Flooded Washington State Roadway Filled with Salmon

The local news sources in Washington State are reporting the strange salmon invasion in a state roadway that happened yesterday due to a major storm. According to the news, the heavily flooded roadway was filled with salmon, which is a type of migrating fish that may have been slightly confused after the powerful storm.

Western Washington felt the effects of the strong weather change coming from the Pacific Northwest making this Thanksgiving holiday a very stormy season.

The Seattle area is expected to have three inches of rainfall until Thanksgiving day while winds may reach 50 to 70 mph.

The video shows the migrating fish trying to swim across the flooded Skokomish Valley Road. Authorities hope that the salmon trying to find their way back into the water will avoid the road areas near Shelton.

As a Seattle car accident lawyer I hope that the unexpected storms won’t cause traffic or accidents related to the extreme weather changes. I urge all drivers to stay alert and make sure your vehicles are in top condition for all the holiday driving you and your loved ones are about to be doing.

Personal injury lawyers should be of great assistance whenever you’re involved in an accident caused by the recklessness of others. Don’t hesitate to contact a personal injury lawyer in your area when needed.
