Three Teens Injured After Crash Just Southeast of Tacoma

According to several local news sources, an accident just southeast of Tacoma sent three teens to the Hospital.

The official reports from the Washington State Patrol show that the vehicle driven by an 18-year-old driver crashed into a pole on Highway 161 causing severe injuries to one of the passengers. The accident happened sometime around 12 a.m. on Thursday without involving any other vehicle.

The Washington State Patrol spokesperson stated that alcohol is likely the cause behind this accident. Officers say the driver will probably be charged with vehicular assault. Details regarding how the accident came to be were not disclosed by the authorities. The WSP is still investigating the case.

As a Tacoma car accident lawyer, it saddens me to hear about accidents involving drunk driving. This accident could have been avoided if the drunk teenage driver was in a sober state of mind and aware of his surroundings. I hope the three teens quickly recover from any injuries sustained in this incident. It is now up to the legal system to decide what charges the young man will be faced with.

If you or a loved one has been injured in a drunken driving accident, contact a personal injury lawyer in your region right away.

Accident On Highway 305 Claims The Life Of A Passenger

According to the local news, a 50-year-old woman who was killed after being involved in a head-on collision was unfortunately killed. The Washington State Patrol released a statement claiming that the woman was identified after her body was retrieved from the accident scene on Highway 305 last Friday.

The official reports show that the accident happened some time around 6 in the afternoon just in front of the Cedar Glen RV Park. The investigators working on this case think that the driver responsible for the crash was driving while intoxicated. The 46-year-old woman from Poulsbo was driving northbound when suddenly she veered into the opposite lane and collided head-on against the 1993 Saturn carrying the victim. Officials say she wasn’t wearing her seat belt.

The driver of the struck vehicle was severely injured and was rushed to the Hospital by a helicopter along with the drunken driver.

Authorities blocked the roadway for four hours so the accident scene could be cleared up.

As an Olympia car accident lawyer I extend my most profound condolences to the family of the woman who tragically lost her life because of this accident. The thoughts and hearts of all personal injury lawyers are with them.

Fortunately, this accident will serve as an alert to all motorists who think they could possibly get away with driving under the influence. Don’t be a victim of a drunken driver, contact a proficient lawyer as soon as needed.

Man Involved In Crash On I-82 Was Following Too Close

According to local news, a 59-year-old man from Toppenish had to be rushed to the hospital after an accident involving two vehicles on Interstate 82.

Official reports from the Washington State Patrol show that the driver was going south on the Interstate around 6:20 pm on Monday night when he failed to slow down and ended up rear-ending a truck driven by a 45-year-old man. The truck was hauling a trailer and according to the reports from the authorities, the truck driver was not injured.

According to the news, both men were wearing seat belts and the local police had to hand a citation to the injured driver for driving and following too close to another vehicle.

I, a Bellingham auto accident lawyer I hope the injured driver will learn his lesson and stay away from any future issues while on the road.

As a personal injury lawyer I urge all motorists in the state of Washington to stay alert for icy roads. There are many weather conditions that will make the roads less of a safe place but if the driver is watchful and mindful of the possible issues he may face, most accidents can be prevented.

Single-car Accident In Bow Leaves Two Women And One Child Injured

A single-car accident in Bow was reported by the local news and according to the several articles, drugs were thought to play an allegedly big part in the accident.

Official reports from the Washington State Patrol show that a 20-year-old woman was driving her Kia Sephia around 11:20 a.m. southbound on Interstate 5 last Sunday morning when the vehicle allegedly went off the road.

According to the official reports from the Washington State Patrol, the car rolled after going off the road injuring the driver, a 19-year-old passenger and a 4-year-old girl. The Washington State Patrol reported that the one of the causes behind the crash was the fact the driver was driving under the influence.

Charges of felony driving under the influence of drugs are allegedly still pending.

As a Kirkland Car Accident Lawyer I am hoping that the two women and one child injured in this crash will be back with their normal lives at once and that this accident will serve as an alert to young drivers all over Washington.

Pedestrian Hit By Two Cars, Tragically Killed

Sunday was a sad day for Pasco, Washington according to the local news. Articles state that a pedestrian from Pasco was walking on the highway when two different cars struck him before being pronounced dead by the Washington State Patrol.

The drivers, a 19-year-old man and a 31-year-old man allegedly stayed at the scene of the accident assisting the WSP.

According to the Patrol, the man was in the right lane of the highway after being dropped off by a friend. What made the man want to change directions and walk eastbound on SR 240 is still unknown. The causes behind he crash are also obscure.

The two drivers responsible for hitting and then sadly killing the man are being allegedly investigated.

Trooper Involved In Crash, Hits Black Ice And Flips Vehicle

According to several news outlets, the freezing temperature was to blame for the severely icy roads many commuters had to deal with today.

Official reports say that the Washington State Patrol trooper involved in a crash early was the victim of this severe weather.

The trooper who was on duty during the evening was driving on I-90 when all of sudden he hit a bank of black ice and slid across the road. The car rested over an embankment.

Investigators from the WST claimed that the trooper wasn’t hurt but had to be taken to the hospital as a precautionary act. Authorities say that even when you know the roads well, certain threats can hit you when you least expect.

Some of the safety measures officers have advised readers to take is to always be attentive to different glares or strange shades on the sides of the road during the night. This is the time of the year that ice and snow cause severe accidents all over Washington State.

As a Seattle car accident lawyer I hope the Washington State Patrol trooper is doing fine and that this accident will serve as an example to young drivers. All motorists should always pay attention to the road surrounding them at any time of the day or the night.

I, a personal injury lawyer urge you to star alert to severe weather conditions while on the road, stay safe and keep others safe.

Drunken Driver Hits Stopped Vehicle, Causes Tragic Accident

Local news sources have been reporting that an alarmingly disturbing accident sadly claimed the life of an infant in Vancouver, Washington.

Reports from the Washington State Patrol show that a man from Portland was allegedly arrested after being accused of driving under the influence and causing an accident that led to the death of a 3-month-old baby.

Statements from prosecutors show that the baby’s parents, a 23 year-old and a 21 year-old were coming back from a camping trip in the Puget Sound area, while they were driving on Interstate 5 they had to stop because of a flat tire.

At the same moment an intoxicated 26 year-old driver lost total control of his vehicle and hit the stopped car on the side of the road. The infant allegedly didn’t resist the wounds and unfortunately died in the scene of the accident.

Personal injury lawyers wish the infant’s family will be able find the support they need during this terribly difficult moment of their lives. Our hearts and kind thoughts are with them.

As a Vancouver car accident attorney I offer my sincere condolences to the parents of the infant tragically lost in an accident that should have never happened. Driving while intoxicated is against the law and the consequences of this act are highly fatal.
