The Wenatchee World reports that the major injury crash was caused by a 56-year-old man in a Chevy Monte Carlo who crossed the centerline of Highway 97A near Entiat and collided head-on with a Mini Cooper. The Monte Carlo then struck two other vehicles. A passenger in the Monte Carlo, a 61-year-old woman, suffered the most serious injuries. Three others sustained neck and back injuries.
