Recall Issued For Nissan Sentras Over Stall Risk

According to the recent reports from the Consumer Reports website, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration along the Nissan automaker is issuing a recall for all 2010 and 2011 Sentras.

The announcement states that over 33,800 units of the mentioned Sentra models have to be taken back to the dealerships due to an issue with their battery terminals. The company reveals that the engine may stall unexpectedly leading the vehicle to crash. The problem happened because during the manufacturing process, the battery terminals were covered with a zinc coating that was thicker than necessary.

Because of the faulty battery terminals, the engine can also present problems when the driver tries to restart the car. The national agency assured the media that the issue affects only the vehicles manufactured during May, July, August, September and October of 2010 and are equipped with the MR20 engines.

As a Seattle car accident lawyer I want to remind all owners of the recalled Nissan Sentras that it is against the law to sell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. If you own a Sentra that has been recalled, you can take it into your local dealer where they will perform a thorough inspection for free.

Whenever you are injured in an accident that was caused by a third party and that left you harmed in any way, contact a personal injury attorney to assist you.

Recall Issued For Nissan Juke Over Faulty Sensors

Several news sources revealed that Nissan is issuing a recall along the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for 28,000 Juke SUVs over faulty sensors and freezing locks.

According to the official statement, this is a global recall since accidents related to the faulty parts have been reported in foreign countries. The automaker tested their vehicles after the complaints and realized the boost-pressure sensors can eventually come loose and lead to several problems with the vehicle’s check-engine lights. The problem may also lead the car to stall suddenly since the faulty bracket can fall into the air tube.

The official reports state that the automaker will send recall notices to owners in the beginning of January of 2012.

As a San Bernardino car accident lawyer I’m sincerely relieved that Nissan was able to catch this recall before any injuries occurred. I urge all Juke owners to contact the automaker as soon as possible so any possible accidents related to this faulty vehicle can be prevented.

Personal injury lawyers are always glad to answer your questions related to any accident that you might have been involved with and that was caused by someone else driving a poorly maintained vehicle. Do not hesitate to contact us whenever you need.

Frozen Pasta Recall Issued

A certain amount of frozen stuffed pasta produced and distributed by the D’Orazio Foods, Inc. from New Jersey is being recalled due to the lack of proper inspections performed before the items were shipped.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service revealed that the company must seize over 161,000 ponds of the frozen pasta distributed to many states including California.

After a routine assessment managed by the FSIS, agents realized there was a certain batch of pasta that had been produced when inspectors were not present at the facility. The recalled items include Albertsons’ beef ravioli, Albertsons’ sausage ravioli, Jewel sausage ravioli, Our Family beef ravioli and Jewel beef ravioli. States like California, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Texas, Oregon and Utah are known to have distributed the recalled products.

According to the agency, the lack of a proper inspection may lead to severe ramifications. All companies must abide to the federal regulations and have their food products properly inspected or lives of consumers throughout the nation will suffer.

Any personal injury lawyer can tell you that many personal injury cases are related to the negligence of companies that fail to have their products properly inspected by the authorities.

As a Newport Beach personal injury attorney I hope that no severe contaminations will be discovered in the recalled products. I urge all consumers to follow the agency’s recommendation and return the product if you happen to have purchased it. Do not delay.

Recall Issued For Iams ProActive Health Smart Puppy Dry Food

According to recent news from the consumer reports, the manufacturer along with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is recalling a certain type of dog food from the P&G’s Iams brand. The Iams ProActive Health Smart Puppy dry food was found to have high levels of a toxin called aflatoxin that may cause many illnesses in pets.

The FDA has announced that retailers have removed the remaining recalled products from their shelves but that several consumers still own bags of the recalled product in their homes. According to official reports, the illnesses related to the bacteria found in the dog food may cause the dogs to suffer sluggishness, vomiting, lethargy, yellowish tint to the eyes, diarrhea etc.

The article announced that the product was distributed to most states of the country and that the recalled bags have February 5 or February 6, 2013 stamped on their Best If Used By labels.

If your pet consumed this recalled product, take it to a veterinarian as fast as possible. I, a Seattle personal injury attorney and a pet owner understand how important our pet’s health is to our family and us.

Don’t hesitate to contact a personal injury lawyer if you ever feel like a defective product has caused you or a loved one to be severely injured. Don’t let the negligence of a big company harm your loved ones.

Voluntary Recall Issued For Golden Glen Creamery Butter

According to a recent announcement from the FDA, Washington based Golden Glen Creamery is announcing a recall for their butter product produced on November 2, 2011. The agency reported that the product may contain Listeria monocytogenes and that individuals who may have consumed the recalled item can assimilate serious illnesses. Some may even be life-threatening to people with a weak immune system.

The FDA has assured consumers that no illnesses were reported linked to the recalled butter and that this is a voluntary recall.

The recalled product comes in a plastic round container; the labels read “Northwest Mushroom Trio Butter” or “Herbes de Provence Butter” and they are kept in a temper-evident seal. “GOLDEN GLEN CREAMERY” and “Natural handcrafted cheese produced by the Jensen Ladies” are also printed on the containers.

The very top label has a code that reads 767. The possible contamination was discovered after Washington State Department of Agriculture collected a random sample of the product for testing. The FDA urges consumers to either completely destroy the recalled item or return it to the place of purchase right away.

Any personal injury lawyer in Los Angeles hopes that this contaminated food product won’t be responsible for any consumer contracting severe illnesses. Unfortunately, personal injury lawyers are very familiar with cases related to the lives of consumers being jeopardized because of the negligence of certain major companies. Beware and contact a lawyer in your area whenever needed.

Recall Issued For Halloween Projection Flashlights, Products Overheat And Melt

According to the recent news, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission along with the Nygala Corp. is issuing a recall of over 10,000 Halloween Projection Flashlights due to the possibility of fire and burn threats to consumers.

The announcement was posted on the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission website last week and it stated that all recalled products must be returned to the distributers and should not be resold or passed along to others.

The reports from the company and the agency show that the products can overheat posing a burn hazard to consumers. The orange and black recalled items are made of plastic and come with six lenses that can be attached to the flashlight so different images can be projected. The manufacturer’s code printed on the packaging read “HW189”and UPC 677916518266.

According to the news, discount stores in the states of Connecticut, Florida, Maryland, New York, New Jersey and California sold the faulty items for $1 between August 2012 and October of 2011.

As an Oakland personal injury lawyer I incite readers to follow the instructions from the Consumer Product Safety Commission and hope that no consumer will be injured. A personal injury lawyer can assist you greatly if you’re ever the victim of a faulty product.

Recall Issued For Over 200,000 Toyota Sienna Vehicles

A recent recall has just been issued for over 210,000 Toyota Sienna cars according to the announcement from the Consumer Reports.

The models 2011 through 2012 were recalled since the company failed terribly in complying with federal requirements that say the vehicle capacity weight for both cargo and occupants must be visibly exposed to owners.

The incorrect information on the vehicle placard will lead the car to cause the tire to be overloaded, which can make the tire fail and will result in a serious accident hazard.

According to the official reports, the company is arranging fixed placards and an entirely revised owner manual. They will be shipped to all Sienna owners in the near future. Owners should contact the company if they have any questions regarding this recall.

The many accidents that can occur to owners of a defective product make it indispensable for readers of this blog to return regularly so they will be aware of the latest news on National recalls.

As a Bellingham auto accident attorney I hope that the defective car won’t cause any of the model’s owners to be at risk. Personal injury lawyers understand the necessity of maintaining the public well aware when it comes to product recalls.

Recall Issued For Black Bean Tortillas

According to recent news from various outlets, the company United Natural Foods, Inc. is issuing a recall of black bean tortillas in the State of California. This is yet another case of possible botulism bacteria contamination to haunt the press.

The Rhode Island-based company announced along with the Food and Drug Administration that there hasn’t been any illnesses reports linked to the consumption of this item but they have decided to go along with the recall anyway.

The reports from the different articles have stated that the recalled item was distributed to Safeway stores. Although this was not a nationwide recall, I believe readers should be aware of any food recall that goes on even only in a local scale. We never know when products that might have been recalled in the past will make it to our table.

As a Seattle personal injury lawyer, I hope that nobody will get sick from consuming contaminated food products. Unfortunately, more often than ever, personal injury attorneys have to deal with sad cases of individuals who fall fatally ill after consuming contaminated products poorly inspected by the manufacturers.

Don’t delay and call your attorney right away.
