Nissan Rogue Vehicles Are Being Recalled

The Consumer Reports agency states that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a recall for an approximate number of 7,300 vehicles of the 2011 Nissan Rogue model. According to the news, the recall is related to an incorrect installation of electric parts. The alleged incorrect installation, according to the national agency may cause a serious failure of the electric power steering systems in the Nissan Rogue vehicles.

According to the NHTSA, the affected cars were put together between August 2010 and October 2011. The issue was described to be provoked because the circuit board from the electric power steering known as EPS was poorly settled, leading most connections to fail. Eventually, the vehicle loses its power steering assistance due to these problems. According to the agency, this issue possibly leads to serious collisions.

Nissan has announced that all registered owners will be notified of the recall right away.

As a Renton car accident attorney I urge Nissan Rogue owners in Washington to take their cars to dealerships in a timely manner so the faulty EPS control unit will be entirely replaced for free. Personal injury lawyers know of the dangers related to faulty vehicles. Don’t live with this serious accident threat to you, other drivers and pedestrians, respond quickly.

Source Says Chevy Volt Power Cords Pose Fire Hazard

Many news outlets have been reporting recent fires related to the Chevy Volt batteries.

After public pressure, GM promised to give every volt owner a free loaner while the likelihood of a defective batch of batteries manufactured by GM is being investigated by the authorities but more news have now surfaced.

According to the news, some consumers have reported Volt cords overheating and presenting melting issues. The carmaker claims the problem with the cord isn’t linked to the manufacturer but with the owners’ wiring. GM has redesigned the item and replaced an undisclosed number of official cords.

Although the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration never disclosed any owners’ complaints regarding Volt cords, overheating problems have been observed by sources linked to Yahoo! Autos.

The cord comes with the charging station that must be installed by Volt owners. The cord was designed to be a stopgap but according to information gathered from the official Volt website forum, 19 out of 53 users affirmed they had some type of problem with the faulty cords, most had to be replaced by the carmaker.

As a Seattle car accident lawyer I hope Volt owners will contact the carmaker so the proper information regarding the free loaner they’re entitled to can be delivered in a timely manner.

Personal injury lawyers are always eager to answer your questions related to injuries you may have suffered due to accidents caused by third parties.

Recall Issued For Over 200,000 Toyota Sienna Vehicles

A recent recall has just been issued for over 210,000 Toyota Sienna cars according to the announcement from the Consumer Reports.

The models 2011 through 2012 were recalled since the company failed terribly in complying with federal requirements that say the vehicle capacity weight for both cargo and occupants must be visibly exposed to owners.

The incorrect information on the vehicle placard will lead the car to cause the tire to be overloaded, which can make the tire fail and will result in a serious accident hazard.

According to the official reports, the company is arranging fixed placards and an entirely revised owner manual. They will be shipped to all Sienna owners in the near future. Owners should contact the company if they have any questions regarding this recall.

The many accidents that can occur to owners of a defective product make it indispensable for readers of this blog to return regularly so they will be aware of the latest news on National recalls.

As a Bellingham auto accident attorney I hope that the defective car won’t cause any of the model’s owners to be at risk. Personal injury lawyers understand the necessity of maintaining the public well aware when it comes to product recalls.

The consumer reports along with other news sources announced a recall for Craisins during the thanksgiving weekend.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration agency is recalling the Craisins Dried Cranberries from the Ocean Spray company due to the possible existence of hair-like metal fragments in certain lots.

The FDA has released a statement assuring that there were no reports of illnesses related to the presence of metal in the Ocean Spray Craisins products. The alleged unlikeness of any consumer injuring themselves by consuming this item shouldn’t keep the public from being informed.

All consumers must know that the 5, 10 and 48 once bags of the Craisins Dried Cranberry manufactured by Ocean Spray are part of the recall. Craisins packages with the letter ‘M’ stamped on the Best By date are the items that need to be taken back to the place of purchase.

As an Everett personal injury attorney, I know that even if an issue with a product doesn’t pose a serious risk to all consumers and their loved ones, it is imperative that the company behind the problem takes full responsibility for their mistakes.

Undeclared Allergen, the Cause Behind The Semita de Piña Recall

News sources have declared Rio Grande Imports Inc. has issued an allergy alert recall for Semita de Piña, a pastry filled with pineapple jam sold in individual packages due to undeclared dairy among the ingredients.

All consumers who happen to have a serious allergy or some type of sensitivity to milk and derivatives are urged to make sure they will not consume this product. The FDA announced the recall along with the company after the New York State Department of Agriculture took a sample into the laboratory for testing so an evidence of the presence of milk in the product could be obtained.

The product is packed in clear plastic overwrap and the name El Triunfo is printed on its label. The code of the recalled item is 11-22-11. No case of illness was allegedly reported regarding the consuming of the recalled products.

As a Bellevue personal injury attorney I hope that this post has made readers nationwide aware that undeclared allergens can represent a major risk. Consumers must be aware of the risks linked to the consumption of products containing undeclared ingredients.

For the case of an eventual personal injury case related to contaminated food products, don’t hesitate in contacting a personal injury lawyer that will help you to get the justice you deserve.

News sources from all over the country have reported that the previous recall for Bumbo Baby Seats hasn’t seemed to be making much of a difference for the safety of babies nationwide. The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued an extension to the original recall so parents stay alert when leaving their babies on the Bumbo Baby Seats.

According to the announcement these items should never be used in elevated surfaces. Reports regarding infants aged 3 to 10 months suffering injuries after falling from the baby seats are still surfacing. Some of the reports claim the infants had skull fractures among other allegedly life-threatening injuries.

The reports show there have been at least 45 incidents related to the same misuse of the Bumbo seats. The last recall issued by the CPSC required the manufacturers to display warning signs advising parents to never place their babies on this product while on elevated surfaces. Since that requirement was followed, 17 reports of skull fractures were brought to the CPSC.

Since 2003, there were 3.85 million seats manufactured by Bumbo Baby Seats International sold all over the country.

Recall Issued for Buffalo Chicken Wedge Sandwiches

The early news reports from the FDA claim that the Maumee Valley Vending Company has issued an allergy alert because milk that went undeclared in the Buffalo Chicken Wedge Sandwiches containing cheese.

The company is issuing a recall along with the alert because the label did not show milk as one of the items on their ingredients list. The reports from the FDA show that the manufacturing company has produced 350 sandwiches, which have the code CLF103 11/21 printed on the product’s plastic triangular containers.

The issue was discovered after the FDA investigated many products due to suspicion of incorrect product labeling. There have been no illnesses reported that were directly linked to this product, however individuals who have a severe milk allergy may run the risk of being seriously threatened by allergic reactions after the consuming of this product.

As a Bellevue personal injury attorney I hope that this recalled item won’t be responsible for any severe allergic reactions that may prove to be fatal in the case of a consumer suffering from a major milk sensitivity.
