Pedestrian Hit By Two Cars, Tragically Killed

Sunday was a sad day for Pasco, Washington according to the local news. Articles state that a pedestrian from Pasco was walking on the highway when two different cars struck him before being pronounced dead by the Washington State Patrol.

The drivers, a 19-year-old man and a 31-year-old man allegedly stayed at the scene of the accident assisting the WSP.

According to the Patrol, the man was in the right lane of the highway after being dropped off by a friend. What made the man want to change directions and walk eastbound on SR 240 is still unknown. The causes behind he crash are also obscure.

The two drivers responsible for hitting and then sadly killing the man are being allegedly investigated.

According to the official reports, it is not yet clear how the accident came to be but I, a Tacoma personal injury attorney have faith that the authorities will discover the true causes behind this pedestrian-related accident.

The thoughts and hearts of personal injury lawyers in Washington are with the close friends and family of this 23-year-old man who tragically lost his life in a completely preventable accident.

We’re certain that his family will have the strength to live through this difficult phase of their lives.

Bicyclist/Pedestrian Study Hopes To Make Roads Safer

News sources reported that the UA-area study from Arizona is trying to make the campus and the entire surrounding region safer for pedestrians and bicyclists alike by studying the issues and promoting the discussion of the present problems.

A safer environment is the goal for the community. This goal is the direct response to a recent accident involving a bicyclist who was also a student and a vehicle. The UA along with the Pima Association of Governments will fund a study that will collect data regarding cyclists, pedestrians and the risks to their safety.

The UA Area Bicycle and Pedestrian Study will be responsible for bike counts, surveys, collecting of pedestrian traffic data etc. All of this information will be gathered so collisions can be prevented. The idea is to create solutions and projects so the infrastructure of the roads can be ameliorated for a safer experience.

Safety is a priority for the community. When it comes to bikers and pedestrians sharing the road with vehicles, we must be extra dedicated. The study is allegedly trying to come up with answers to all safety questions that do not seem to ever be answered.

As a Seattle personal injury lawyer, I hope that more similar studies may furnish the solutions for safer roads in the future.

Pedestrian Accident Claims One Life

According to the Washington State Patrol and other news sources, a 55-year-old woman was allegedly involved in a horrible accident last Saturday. Reports show that she was attempting to cross Highway 99 south of 128th Street SW where there are no pedestrian crossing lines. The causes for her to be crossing the street where she wasn’t supposed to are still unknown. Authorities are still investigating so more can be drawn from this occurring.

The driver who unfortunately hit the woman, a 22-year-old man from Everett, was headed northbound when his vehicle struck the woman. According to an official, full details aren’t entirely available, all that is known is that it seems that she simply threw herself against the car.

Reports also claim that it was raining lightly and the woman was dressing dark clothes. The driver, a 27-year-old man and the 3-year-old passenger are doing fine, the woman however lost her life.

As a Seattle personal injury lawyer I wish the victims of this horrible tragedy a hassle-free recovery. My heart goes to the family of the woman who sadly lost her life. Many personal injury lawyers are always ready to get your call and answer your questions related to your personal injury case.
