Three Teens Injured After Crash Just Southeast of Tacoma

According to several local news sources, an accident just southeast of Tacoma sent three teens to the Hospital.

The official reports from the Washington State Patrol show that the vehicle driven by an 18-year-old driver crashed into a pole on Highway 161 causing severe injuries to one of the passengers. The accident happened sometime around 12 a.m. on Thursday without involving any other vehicle.

The Washington State Patrol spokesperson stated that alcohol is likely the cause behind this accident. Officers say the driver will probably be charged with vehicular assault. Details regarding how the accident came to be were not disclosed by the authorities. The WSP is still investigating the case.

As a Tacoma car accident lawyer, it saddens me to hear about accidents involving drunk driving. This accident could have been avoided if the drunk teenage driver was in a sober state of mind and aware of his surroundings. I hope the three teens quickly recover from any injuries sustained in this incident. It is now up to the legal system to decide what charges the young man will be faced with.

If you or a loved one has been injured in a drunken driving accident, contact a personal injury lawyer in your region right away.

Two Men Were Allegedly Killed In Two Different Crashes Last Friday

According to several local news outlets, there were two separate collisions that happened on Friday night.

An accident on SR 105 claimed the life of a driver who was involved in an accident where the vehicle hit a mailbox, a parked car and a tree after leaving the road mysteriously.

The second fatal accident that happened on Friday night involved a 43-year-old man who was driving eastbound on State Route 12 when he drifted off the road collided against the guard rail and crossed to the westbound lane hitting another vehicle coming from the opposite way.

The driver on the car hit by the distracted driver was allegedly airlifted to the hospital.

Other passengers were also taken to the hospital, but the use of an helicopter wasn’t necessary.

As a Vancouver auto accident lawyer, I hope all injured victims of any of the car accidents from Friday will recover quickly. I also urge all readers to never drive while drowsy or distracted by something other than the road ahead of you.

Personal injury lawyers send their hearts and thoughts to the families of the two men who were tragically killed in these two separate accidents and wish the injured victims a thorough recovery.

According to various news articles, a man from Mattawa was allegedly injured after being involved in a crash on Highway 243. The authorities have reported that he was a passenger in the car that crashed.

The Washington State Patrol has reported that the accident happened some time after 5 p.m. on Saturday. A 21-year-old man was driving his SUV when suddenly he tried to pass another car by illegally crossing the double yellow lines.

He was driving northbound on Highway 243 when he lost control of the vehicle, attempted to bring the SUV back to the northbound lanes but unfortunately, the vehicle rolled many times before it stopped.
