Man Injured After Hitting a Boulder Off The Road

A single car accident was responsible for a man from Allyn being injured on Monday evening according to the local news.

The accident happened some time around 11 p.m. when the man was driving on the left side of the Highway 3 and accidentally hit a boulder off the roadway. The vehicle spun around many times and rested on the driver’s side.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the man was taken to the Hospital as soon as the troopers arrived and his car was impounded.

Official reports show that the 77-year-old driver had his seat belt on at the time of the crash and that there were no other individuals involved in this accident. The Washington State Patrol is allegedly still investigating the accident but ruled out alcohol as one of the possible causes of the crash.

As a Vancouver car accident lawyer I hope that the driver will recover quickly and that the authorities will find out the real reasons behind this accident so similar crashes can be prevented in the near future.

I, a personal injury lawyer wish that drivers all across the Nation would be extremely cautious when it comes to distracted and even drowsy driving. Both behaviors can pose severe threats to you and your loved ones.

Honda Issues An Extension To A Previous Recall Due To Faulty Air Bags

An expanded recall of over 273,000 vehicles was added to an earlier recall of certain models from both Honda and Acura. According to recent news, the driver’s air bags may allegedly deploy with an intense force posing injury threats. Some cases may lead to the driver’s death.

The reports show that the company will replace all faulty airbags free of charge. All owners must make an appearance at a Honda dealer so they can fix the issue right away. The alleged extended recall was issued for the 2001 to 2003 Civic, the 2001 to 2002 Accord, 2002 Odyssey, 2002 to 2003 Accura 3.2 TL, 2002 to 2003 CR-V and the 2003 Accura 3.2 CL.

Many incidents have been reported to the carmaker and because of that, the extension of this recall was seen as a necessary act. All vehicle owners will be receiving letters from the company regarding the extended recall in the near future.

As an Everett car accident lawyer I urge all Honda drivers to check their vehicle models and see if their car is part of the recall. Personal injury lawyers urge all readers who happen to own a vehicle with faulty air bags to contact the dealership as soon as possible. Do not delay.

Wreck On SR 20 Leaves Drunken Driver Injured, WSP Reports

A man from old Port Townsend was allegedly taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle by helicopter after a tragic accident on State Route 20 last Monday. News articles show that the wreck happened after three in the afternoon and that it was caused because the driver was drinking before driving.

The 39-year-old man was driving a Toyota pickup truck on SR 20 toward Discover Bay when the vehicle reportedly left the lane and drifted to the side near Fairmount Road. It rotated a few times before it rested upside down in a ditch. There were no details about the use of seat belts by any of the two men involved in the accident.

The Washington State Patrol has released an official report saying that the motorist was driving under the influence of alcohol and that the passenger, a 49-year-old man was allegedly left unharmed. At this moment, a personal injury lawyer in the Seattle area could be assisting the passenger.

After the authorities responded to the accident, the pickup truck was towed since it was severely damaged.

As a Renton car accident lawyer I personally wish a speedy recovery to the driver involved in this DUI case. Hopefully, this sad accident will serve as a true example of how risky drinking and driving can be.

Snowy Road Collision Leaves Two Injured

According to the local news and reports from the Washington State Patrol, two people had to be taken to a Hospital Wednesday after a two-vehicle collision on State Route 821.

The accident happened just north of Selah and involved speeding and snowy conditions, two things that allegedly don’t go well together. A Washington State Patrol officer said that a 55-year-old man from Seattle was going northbound on the road when he allegedly lost control of the vehicle. At the time, a car driven by a 54-year-old woman from Ellensburg was driving southbound when the car that was out of control struck her.

According to official reports, it’s not yet known how both drivers are feeling but the Washington State Patrol claimed they were both wearing their seat belts. No drugs or alcohol were found in the driver’s blood.

As a Seattle car accident lawyer I understand that there may have been many different factors that could have caused this crash but I still urge all readers to be extremely careful while driving under difficult weather conditions.

Man Allegedly Loses His Life in A Possible DUI Accident

Reports from the Washington State Patrol claim that sometime after 7 a.m. on Monday, there was a one-vehicle accident on State Route 164 that sadly claimed the life of one man while leaving another man injured. News sources didn’t disclose how severe were the injuries the man sustained.

The news reports that a Bonney Lake resident, who was 26 years old at the time of the crash, was driving eastbound on SR 164. Authorities say that the driver was under the influence, which might have caused his sudden crossing to the westbound lanes that led his vehicle to leave the road and hit multiple trees.

The passenger in the car, a 27-year-old man from Kirkland was injured by the time the Washington State Patrol arrived; he was taken to the hospital immediately. According to official reports, the driver who was tragically killed was not wearing his seat belt while the passenger was.

As a Kirkland car accident lawyer, I hope that the passenger who was involved in this fatal accident may recover quickly and without any major hassles. He must know that at this time he should have the assistance of a personal injury lawyer throughout the process.

Drowsy Driving Poses a Major Threat, WSP Confirms

According to the Washington State Patrol, a great contributor to accidents on state highways is the ever dangerous drowsy driving. Authorities claim it’s even more of an accident facilitator than drinking and driving because so many motorists simply think they are not going to give in to sleepiness.

The news says the Washington State Patrol has found a new way to crack down this issue by utilizing an easier way to have control over this hazard. Driver fatigue can be fatal but it’s just as hard to be determined whether someone is suffering from it or not.

Authorities found a way around this, at the time truckers stop at weight-stations, electronic screeners will find out how long the driver has been on the road in the past days. That will determine if the truck driver should or should not stop and rest.

Many commercial trucking accidents have occurred in the past year, most of them were caused by driver fatigue. In many cases, truck drivers allegedly falsified the amount of hours they had been driving in the logbooks so they could keep on going.

The new scanners added to the weight-stations will keep that from happening again.

As a Tacoma auto accident lawyer I believe that it is our duty to star alert while driving, otherwise we may be putting other people’s lives at risk. If anyone has ever put your life at risk because of their reckless driving, don’t hesitate in contacting a personal injury lawyer in your area.
