Federal Way Accident Possibly Caused By Drunken Mail Truck Driver

Local news sources have reported an accident involving a mail truck driver in Federal Way. According to official statements from the Washington State Patrol, a 47-year-old woman from Des Moines was driving the truck going southbound on an interchange on Highway 18 when she hit four trucks from the Transportation Department at once.

The workers were placing barrels out on the road. The area where the accident happened was a construction work zone. The Washington State Patrol claims that the accident led one of the DOT drivers to the hospital after the crash.

Authorities took the mail truck driver under custody after the crash and up to this point, there haven’t been any more details regarding the accident although all sources claim that this may have been a driving under the influence case.

The Ecology Department said that after the accident, diesel fuel leaked from the trucks onto the road.

As a Federal Way personal injury attorney I hope that the authorities are working hard to clean up the diesel spill that happened due to this accident.

Any personal injury lawyer can tell you that an extensive investigation will be necessary so the causes of this accident can be determined.

Man From Walla Walla Involved in a Roll Over Accident After Tire Blows Out

Several local news articles have stated that a cement truck was involved in a roll over accident about 15 miles just north of Dayton on Monday. The Washington State Patrol has reported that the accident happened due to a blown tire that led the truck to roll over entangling itself through traffic on Highway 12.

The driver, a 47-year-old man from Walla Walla was driving a Kenworth cement truck going westbound on the Highway 12 when, inadvertently, the left front tire of his vehicle blew out sometime after 9:40 a.m., the Washington State Patrol has reported.

Before landing in the ditch of the Highway 14’s eastbound lane, the truck rolled over. After the tragic accident, the lanes were all blocked and remained that way throughout the afternoon. The man was allegedly unharmed but the truck was totaled.

At this moment, the truck driver could have the help of a personal injury lawyer in his area to help him with the case. Many accidents happen due to malfunctions related to the vehicle’s manufacturer neglecting issues with their products.

As an Everett personal injury attorney I hope that there were no pedestrians or other vehicles present at the time that could have been involved in this accident.
