An accident that allegedly happened just five miles west of Sunnyside on Friday claimed the life of a 52 year-old according to the news. The accident happened sometime after 5:20 p.m. at the intersection of Dekker and Van Belle roads.
Official records released from the Washington State Patrol show that the man was driving up Dekker Road when he reached Van Belle but failed to stop at the stop sign ahead of him.
