Man Taken by The Authorities After Possible DUI-related Crash

According to recent news articles, a 46-year-old man from Ridgefield was taken by the authorities on suspicion of driving under the influence after a crash that happened Tuesday night. The Washington State Patrol reported that an accident was taken place sometime after 7 p.m. on Northeast 219th Street.

Officials say that a vehicle hit the rear end of another vehicle driven by a 33-year old man who ended up sustaining minor injuries. Authorities haven’t released any more information regarding the accident except that the road had to be blocked so the traffic could continue around the scene of the accident.

The Washington State Patrol is still investigating the case. To this moment it is not yet known if the driver was truly driving under the influence or not, let’s hope the authorities will handle this in a timely manner.
